Volunteer Stories: Memy from Rwanda

URIDU would be nothing without its volunteers. We would like to introduce to you some of them with our "Volunteer Stories". This one is about Memy from Rwanda.

URIDU is available in Filipino

Maligayang Pagdating! Uridu.com is now also available in Filipino. We are now covering vital information for rural women in 8 languages. Check out all the languages we cover on our mobile friendly website at www.uridu.com

Empowering Women in Loudaya, Morocco

Today we visited a women's shelter on the outskirts of Marrakech. They are doing a fantastic job by supporting and empowering women escaping violent or abusive situations, such as rape and domestic violence.

Uridu.com is now available in Vietnamese

Chào đón! URIDU.COM is now available in Vietnamese, too! Thank you very much to all of you who made this possible. Vietnamese is the 7th language that we could add thanks to the huge effort of our volunteers.

Menstrual Hygiene Project, Cameroon

URIDU is proudly collaborating with the Community Development Network (CDN) on a Menstrual Hygiene Project for school girls in Cameroon. Girls in Cameroon miss 4 days of school per month on average when they menstruate because of a lack of access to menstrual hygiene knowledge and resources.

Campaign in Rural Morocco

Some impressions of the campaign for empowerment of rural girls we participated in together with the Association El Amane pour le Développement de la Femme. It took place in several communities at the feet of the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, specifically Amizmiz, Ourika and Tidili Mesfioua.

Kicking off our pilot project in Marrakech

We are currently in Marrakech, Morocco, preparing the URIDU project for Berber women of the Atlas mountains together with our local partner Association El Amane pour le Développement de la Femme.
